Tick Tubes

Protect your family from the dangers of Lyme disease

Within the United States, the number of reported cases of Lyme disease and other tick-borne illnesses has been increasingly on the rise. You might be using home remedies currently, but the only effective way to protect yourself and your family from ticks is through utilizing professional tick control.

We utilize a combination of our barrier treatment, and biodegradable tick tubes to eliminate ticks before they have a chance to bite.

To start we apply our traditional mosquito control treatment which kills adult ticks on contact.
Then we strategically place tick tubes in unobtrusive locations around your property to attract mice. That's right, we said mice.

Mosquito Squad's tick tubes control tick populations by relying upon the natural instincts of mice. A majority of ticks target mice for their first meal making utilizing them the perfect choice. Tick tubes contain cotton that has been specially treated with an EPA registered insecticide. This insecticide is designed specifically to target and eliminate tick populations. After the tick tubes have been introduced to the mice natural environment, they begin to collect the treated cotton for bedding materials. The mice deliver the cotton directly to their nest spreading the insecticide. The insecticide coats the mice fur and not only protects the mice from ticks, but also turns them into mobile tick exterminators.

It is extremely important to consult a professional exterminator, like Mosquito Squad, to determine the timing, quantity, and placement of tick tubes.
